In the world of creative design every successful project starts with an idea, a vision of what you are trying to achieve. Communicating what you have in your mind verbally, or through a 2D plan leaves room for misinterpretation and risks stakeholders imagining their own version of what you’re explaining.  If you support your words with pictures, animations and real time simulations you can substantially accelerate buy-in, approvals, collaboration and reduce costs as stakeholders will be on the same page from the off.

This is where we can help. We provide a full suite of design and visualisation services. However big or small your idea we can help you turn your vision into reality:

  • Branding & logos
  • Artwork
  • Web and traditional marketing material
  • Video capture and editing
  • 3D modelling | renders | animations
  • Virtual environments & simulations
  • 3D scanning | modelling | BIM

Initial concept & refinement:

This is where you won’t want to spend the time and money on super accurate, photorealistic images as the idea is still in concept stage. We find for initial meetings to gain feedback on your idea you’re best using sketch style or reasonably basic visuals. These will be good enough for people to instantly understand the concept, so that they are able to provide feedback or raise any potential issues with the idea. This stage is vital for any project, whether it be for branding, marketing, planning, construction, retail development – the list goes on!

Usually there is the need to rework and refine the designs at this stage, until everyone is happy with how it’s taking shape, it’s cost effective versus rushing to a prototype. Many projects can be realised after the concept stage, however a more polished output is often required when you need to present it more formally i.e. senior approvals or funding.

Renders & animations:

When you have a clear picture of what you want to develop we can work with you to create rich visual communication packs and animations. The key to minimising costs at this stage is agreeing the end product up front and keeping changes to a minimum – there are much greater time and processing overheads versus concept drawings.

The process involves creating dimensionally accurate 3D models, applying real-world materials, setting up lighting and environmental parameters resulting in a complete 3D scene which can be used for a variety of outputs.

Renders are pictures! Once the 3D scene is established we can produce photorealistic images (renders) from any viewpoint giving a true visual explanation. We can also rig cameras in the 3D scene to produce set-path animations, commonly known as fly-throughs which can bring your idea to life.

A 3D scene of your idea unlocks a world of interaction, testing, realism, entertainment and learning. When we’ve created (or if you already have) the 3D scene we can optimise it for real-time:

Real-time simulations:

The ultimate end product! Once a 3D scene is built we can translate it into a real time engine. The easiest way to explain this is to think of your idea as a computer game in which your customers can explore in real time, interact with and customise.

Perfect for:

  • Exhibitions
  • Showrooms
  • Sales
  • Scenario based training
  • Entertainment
  • Marketing
  • Research | Testing

This also opens up the door to fully immersive virtual reality experiences; see the VR page for further information.

Think about:

  • Turning your idea into reality – if you can describe it we can make it look awesome
  • Enabling potential home owners to walk around the development you are planning, customising finishes inside the house they’ve chosen before you’ve started building it
  • Enabling customers to walk around your new format store for insight before you spend a penny on the refit / build
  • Seeing options on layout, look & feel, merchandising and marketing solutions across your store without having to set it up
  • Realising consistent and effective training procedures across your whole workforce

We come back to the initial point – it’s all about the idea! Whatever your idea is we can work with you to make it happen. Contact us here.
